About HH4Heroes

Harvesting Happiness for Heroes® is the 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization of the Harvesting Happiness Company.

After studying at the Center for Deployment Psychology in Los Angeles, Ms. Kamen founded HH4Heroes in 2010 to specifically focus on the well-being of our nation’s post combat military soldiers and veterans. Working with post combat soldiers and veterans, caregivers and family members, HH4Heroes offers nationwide workshops, seminars and coaching sessions for individual soldiers, small groups and large audiences, regarding daily reintegration, adjustment measures and restoring a base point for future happiness while managing the effects of PTSD.

As a result of her national efforts, Ms. Kamen has forged partnerships with the Los Angeles based Veterans Preservation Corps, a historic restoration outreach program for homeless veterans and those battling PTSD and TBI. HH4Heroes is proud to work with an outstanding Advisory Board of Directors which includes, renowned Vietnam Marine Veteran, Sgt. Andy Brandi. Sgt Brandi works with HH4Heroes to help the organization heal soldiers battling post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and traumatic brain injury (TBI).  As a result of her efforts, Ms. Kamen has forged partnerships with the Wounded Warrior Project, USC, and the Los Angeles based Veterans Preservation Corps, Heritage Square Museum, and New Directions Inc.   a historic restoration and preservation outreach program for homeless veterans and those experiencing the personal effects of PTSD and TBI.

HH4Heroes premiered the Veterans Retreat Weekend Scholarship program at the Sundance Resort in UT.  Offering an annual, three-day, all expenses paid therapy scholarship program for veterans and their invited family member, spouse or guest.  HH4Heroes provided attendees with outdoor activities, yoga instruction, massage therapy and mini-courses on learning the art of reconstructing happiness in the face of post combat experience as they transition back into family life.

HH4Heroes is currently seeking corporate partners and sponsorship for the Sundance Scholarship Program, national workshops for vets in need, and individual counseling for soldiers, family members and caregivers on the issue of happiness for pre and post combat daily living.
