This quote resonates with me because I have committed to living my life with positive vision, thought, and action. This commitment fuels my role as an applied positive psychology and lifestyle management coach. Before embarking on any new endeavor, I pause to ensure that I carry this positive mindset throughout the mission. I center my attention on my thoughts and feelings in order to support and maintain a harmonious alignment with my actions.
You see—the pursuit of happiness is a journey, not a destination.
Ponder this question: “How can one embark on something new with a negative mindset?” Take, for instance, the aspiration to launch a new business. There’s a significant difference between saying, “Yes, I want to do this, but it will probably fail, because so many new businesses do,” and declaring, “Yes, I want to do this, and I’m determined to make it a success. I know I can do this.”
While most startups do face challenges, the right mindset empowers individuals to persist in their actions to ensure that their businesses flourish.
The most successful entrepreneurs understand that boosting sales through effective marketing is a critical growth strategy. By leveraging search engine optimization, social media, businesses enhance their online visibility, increasing the chances of attracting potential customers, and achieving success. This exemplifies the power of combined positive mindset and action.
These two mindsets are starkly different. What can one achieve with the first negative perspective? The second perspective is not only positive but also action-oriented. This strategy is what empowers us to live life a more optimistic and satisfying life. This is a practice. And practice is what catalyzes change. With effort and useful guidance, the return on the investment will be evidenced by positive results.
Think about this… wherever we focus our attention is where we find ourselves.

The key to success and a rewarding journey lies in setting a clear and concrete vision for ourselves. By doing so, we’re actively moving closer to becoming our ideal selves. Don’t underestimate the value and power of contemplating the ideal vision.
Belief in the vision and dedicated effort toward achieving our goals provides a sense of purpose, determination, direction, and endurance for the long-haul.
Now is the time to bring the first two steps into action. Instead of waiting another day, week, or month, commence the journey towards the ideal scene. There’s no greater gift than the present moment. Delaying the pursuit might lead to unhappiness and a loss of precious time that can never be recovered.
