Figures from the American Institute of Stress confirm that over half of all people (55%) experience stress daily. That figure is even higher within the workforce, with 83% of employees feeling stressed daily.
Whether it’s an increasing workload and unrealistic expectations in the office, financial worries, or anxiety about what’s next for our nation, it can feel like our minds and bodies are constantly besieged by issues that make us feel anxious, tense, and worried.

While a certain degree of stress can be a good thing by motivating us forward, too much is most certainly harmful. Stress overload negatively impacts our mental and physical health.
It doesn’t have to be that way, though.
It is possible to stay grounded and achieve inner peace even in the middle of our crazy world. All we need to do is find the peacemaking daily habits that help us stay grounded.
